This is the kind of zone where you look at it and think the cameras are off, but when you watch the game you see that they were not and that the umpire is terrible. If your zone is this bad you should not have a job being an umpire in Major League Baseball.

Phil Cuzzi is also one of the autostrike 3-0 callers, a few of the absolutely ridiculous called strikes in there are due to them. Just give the batter his base.

I went and looked up the strike zone from tonight’s game because A-Rod threw an amazing fit like I’ve never seen him do before (I would say he was close to getting tossed if Girardi hadn’t run out and calmed him down).
